PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

Just reading through all the blogs I subscribe to and they are really inspirational. Seems people are hard at it everywhere, whether travelling to write about it, attending writing workshops, finding they're mentioned in other blogs, reviewing books...all good...hoping to get one done soon. I'm looking forward to being settled again and being able to work every day, not in bursts. Of course your mind never stops. There's always stories floating around. Meanwhile I have a few to finish up and get out there...

I'm about to review a book, too. It's just finding the time to fit it in with all the other stuff, like day job, writing, blah blah. I propose a motion on having an extra day added to the week, to do just what we like!

Now wouldn't that be the best! There should be more to it than just fitting it in then feeling guilty at the other things you're neglecting...

Absolutely. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to dedicate, say, a whole year to writing, without having to feel guilty, or DO anything else, unless you really want to?

That's a fiction I love to read about - these women taking a house by the sea in France, writing away every day, meeting some mysterious man who happens to own a few chateaux. Hmmm. Of course the book is a sensation too!
